Economical Janitorial and Paper Supplies, LLC of Harahan, Louisiana, is a local distributor of sanitary maintenance and food service supplies. We have been in business for over 37 years, providing quality, affordable products and excellent service to the Gulf Coast area.
Last year, EJPS successfully reached its company goal and began focusing on new opportunities and growth for 2020. We are a woman-owned business and have been certified by the WomenÂ’s Business Council Gulf Coast for over 15 years. EJPS is also a member of the Louisiana Restaurant Association and the Louisiana Nursing Home Association.
Economical accommodates national business through our member-owner association with Network Services Company. Network Service Company is comprised of over 400 member-owner distribution centers across North America, serving 750,000 customer locations.
Our Harahan facility is 93,000 square feet with $3.5 million in inventory serviced by a fleet of 20 trucks and 2 emergency delivery vehicles for our customers' special handling requirements. Our Alexandria facility is 54,000 square feet of dedicated warehouse space with $1.5 million in inventory serviced by an additional 5 trucks. Our overall operation employs 85 dedicated persons to best serve our customers. All are invited to visit our distribution center Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
We are an "Approved Distributor" for many national brands as well as our own “HiTech” private label products. Our National Brand Lines.
