Blackwing is one of North America's leading providers of Healthy Red Meats and Healthy Poultry Meats to consumers, retailers and food service industries. Since being established in 1996, Blackwing's vision has been to offer healthy organic and all-natural meats to health conscious American consumers nationwide.
Blackwing is owned by Roger Gerber and Beth Kaplan (husband and wife team). We have grown 20-40% a year for the last several years as we produce very high quality products at very competitive pricing. Our monthly internet reorder percentage is 74.28% per month which we believe might be the highest in the market. We supply over 3,600 retail stores in the U.S. and thousands of food service operations including most who serve organic chicken, bison, organic pork, organic turkey and organic beef. Blackwing purchases direct from growers throughout the US as well as their own herds.

As the premier supplier of healthy meats in the United States, Blackwing is dedicated to providing consistently high quality, anti-biotic and hormone free meats at affordable prices. The animals do not receive MRNA.
Blackwing offers our healthy organic products directly to consumers, in part due to requests from many health care professionals. Physicians encouraged us to ship directly to their patients healthy products which were otherwise unobtainable in their local markets.
In 2016, Blackwing opened Old Mill Creek Country Store to service the greater Lake County, IL community in its needs for healthier food offerings. Old Mill Creek Country Store now offers everything from fresh organic produce to organic coffee and we cut and sell fresh organic and specialty meats 365 days a year. Blackwing now offers many of these organic and gluten free products to our internet customers as well as our health store and food service accounts nationwide.
