FinamacTM was founded in Brazil, in 1985, by an Aeronautical Engineer with a strong vocation entrepreneur and experience in the aerospace industry, enabling the company with its revolutionary project of a compact popsicle producer, the first of its kind on the market.
The idea came from observing his father, an Italian immigrant who arrived in Brazil in 1954 and started in the ice cream business, to later provide services as a refrigeration mechanic and, in his free time, assemble small artisanal ice cream machines for acquaintances.
In 1988, at the age of 29, this Aeronautical Engineer built the first 5 examples of the unprecedented popsicle maker in a room in his house, facing a great challenge and starting a success story .
He applied everything he had to the venture, starting with one employee and reaching 70 employees in 5 years. Over time, the manufacturing of parts was outsourced and the company focused on researching innovative projects and integrating equipment, accumulating more than 40 patents in the sector.
In 2006, the internationalization of the FinamacTM brand and its products began, today present in more than 100 countries. The numerous innovations in ice cream machines have led to numerous appearances in conventional and digital business-oriented media.
In 2013 FinamacTM receives support from FAPESP, a research and innovation funding body, to develop the most revolutionary ice cream machine ever created in the world, to be presented to the market in 2019. The innovation has been developed with the support of Doctors from the best Educational Institutions in Brazil and the United States, such as ITA (Aeronautical Technological Institute, São José dos Campos), POLI (USP Polytechnic School - São Paulo) and CALTECH (California Institute of Technology, USA). It also has technological support from suppliers in the United States, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and other countries.
In 2014 the company was awarded the Design Export Program, supported by APEX, a Brazilian export incentive agency, which resulted in the revolutionary design of the ROBOPOP ice pickers, certified by safety (UL) and health standards (NSF) of the United States and Canada.
Still in 2014, FinamacTM reaches 15 of the 17 best popsicle stores in the world United States, in addition to exporting more than 60% of its production. See the stores at this link, clicking on the images on the left arrow. Fifteen of them have FinamacTM equipment.
In 2015 the international sales office and production plant of FinamacTM is officially opened in Miami, United States.
In 2016 FinamacTM began the development of a new technology for producing popsicles that should revolutionize the world market, also with support from FAPESP, to be presented in 2021.
In 2018, new projects under the Design Export/Apex Program are initiated to offer more widely differentiated equipment to the world market.
In 2021, FinamacTM acquires a warehouse/manufacturing plant in Miami-USA and begins construction of an ultra-modern factory in São Paulo.
