About Edmer Sanitary Supply Co Inc
Edmer Sanitary Supply Company is a family-owned business founded in 1959 by Bill Zeitlin, a Drill Instructor fresh out of the Marine Corp. BillÂ’s brother Hal joined the company shortly after, and we leased our first building, a 5,000-sq-ft two-story barn, in North Bellmore, Long Island. In 1965, Edmer purchased a 25,000-sq-ft building and relocated to East Meadow, where we are currently located. Today, Edmer employs a staff of 20.
Bill put his heart and soul into Edmer Company. Over the years, various family members came to work for the company. In 2000, Edmer became a second-generation family-owned company when BillÂ’s son, Ed Zeitlin, was named President. Four years later, EdÂ’s son Blake joined the company, and a few years after that BlakeÂ’s wife Allison joined the company.

We are active members of ISSA, our industry association, for which Bill Zeitlin served on the Board of Directors from 1975-1978. We attend our annual trade show and educational training seminars so we can offer the most up-to-date products, equipment and cleaning techniques available.
