Our History
Norvell Fixture & Equipment was founded in 1943 by Marion Norvell in Augusta, Georgia. Marion used his many years of experience and relationships built in the candy industry to start his own business. He got his start by supplying pharmacies in Georgia with soda fountains. This grew into a full-service food equipment and supply business which also included contract work throughout the Southeast.
In 1960, Marion was joined by his son-in-law, Bill Sherrill, and the company relocated to a larger facility on Reynolds Street. In 1969, Bill Norvell became involved in the company, and in 1979, Will Sherrill also joined the ranks of the growing business.
