About Florida Shrimp Company
We raise our shrimp in prehistoric ocean water from a 2,300-foot deep well on our property in Fellsmere, FL. This water is placed into 36 indoor ponds in two 5-acre facilities that protect it from contamination from the outside world. Our water is so clean that our shrimp never get sick, so we never have to feed antibiotics to them. To make sure you enjoy the freshest shrimp from us, we always harvest in the morning, pack and ship on the same day. Within hours harvest you have fresh shrimp. We never need to use preservatives or any harmful chemicals on our shrimps. Our shrimps have a unique salty flavor from the pre-historic ocean water in which they grow a sweet and clean taste that lingers after each meal. They also have a natural blue color.
